We ate dinner tonight at our favorite little spot in Downtown Elgin --
Al's Cafe & Creamery
They had wonderful tomato basil soup tonight

That red car has only been there about 45 minutes.
Yep! More snow. It was 6 degrees yesterday morning, 12 degrees this morning. Tonight on the way home temperature was a balmy 24 degrees, and snowing like crazy. But..schools were sent a fax this afternoon...no school closing for us!! Of course, it's Institute Day (teachers go in for a work/conference day). They decided at 4 this afternoon--we go to work tomorrow, no matter what!! Lovely!

Beautiful pictures!! I hope work is going well today and that you got there safely!!
I am so jealous of your snow! The most w have gotten is a light dusting. :(
That looks so lovely!
60 is the high for today and I would trade in a heartbeat because I would be giving you a 5,7,9,11 and 14yo all who go to school on different campuses and think they are in charge. LOL!
How beautiful! It's hasn't snowed where I live in like 30 years! Plus, you couldn't really call it snow, more like a few flakes. haha
It is now 68 outside and absolutely beautiful.......
68!!! I'm so envious!! In a few minutes, I will hit the 20 degree weather outside with 12 inches of snow on the ground and head out to a birthday party for my 8 year old granddaughter. This is the "friend" party -- there will be approx 20 8 year olds and maybe 5 or 6 6-year old siblings -- friends of the 6-year old granddaughter!!! Hurray!! Charge up that batter and head out for pictures
I'm sure that it's just cause we are SoCal wimps that I just am looking at your pictures thinking..."lucky"
this house is "freezing" to us... and today it got down into the 40's- we thought we were going to DIE!
