We sang, talked and smiled for the camera!!

I love the photos of las cruces. In that first one, I thought you had a drum around your neck and wondered if you were the drummer. But then I realize it is just a mike stand.

I have a friend who just moved to a community outside of Las Cruces, but I've not been there myself ... yet. Looks like you had fun indeed! Thanks for sharing ;--)
Hugs and blessings,

There are so many cool communities in the desert and the surrounding mountains. Some of them are quite artsy, others just rural. Nice place to be -- the High Desert (Elevation is almost 5,000 feet in Las Cruces. More in some surrounding communities.)

Truth, that would be funny me with a Conga? Bongo? drum on my shoulders. We couldn't find music stands. Our drummer played the accoustic drums so we used those pretty red drums for music stands. And the mike stand does look like straps on my shoulder!!!
