Then I was diagnosed with breast cancer August 6, 2006. (It still takes my breath away to write that!) After a left radical mastectomy and a year of chemotherapy I was declared cancer-free. What a roller coaster ride! From healthy-as-a-horse liver donor to a battle with cancer, all in the space of a few months! I've come to realize that the call of God on my life includes the task of sharing with others those dark moments, those difficult times at the end of human strength when God's Grace and Mercy has carried me through. That same Grace and Mercy is availble to YOU...whatever path you may be on, whatever valley you may be crossing. I am back from one trip and about to start another in less than 10 hours...AGH!
I was laughing so hard at your blog on the airport scene! Too funny...
I'll be sure to write any item tha I find fascinating or funny from my trip...
I just hope that me, my two kids, and 6 suitcases plus 3 carry-ons are not the ones others are blogging about!

I will think of you while we are in the Chicago airport waiting for our flight!

Ballerina Girl: I remember the days -- traveling with two kids and carry-ons!! Hope you didn't get stuck in Chicago!!! last night I was delayed two hours -- and that's just from St. Louis to Chi-- I could have driven in 5 hours. We left my sister's about 3:30; I got home at almost 10 PM.

Please don't ever let my 5yo hear the "illegal" comment. LOL!
