Site Meter Trauma

I inadvertently deleted my site meter!!! For two whole days I will have no data. Okay only a day and a half. My monthly data will be skewed!!

All of those tens (or ones?) of people who read my blog will be uncounted for a day and a half. What shall I do?? What shall I do???

The amazing thing is that for that day and a half, I didn't check the thing. I am addicted, enslaved by my site meter. But from 2 P.M. on Thursday until this morning??? Could it be??

Anybody know a therapist who specialized in Site Meter Trauma?

Strange … methinks I have Site Meters on each of my blogs, but I never think to check the data. Even when reports arrive (as they did this morning) I seldom take time to look at them. Sorry that I can’t be of help, but I’m sure someone out there will have advice for you.

Hope you’re getting lots done while waiting for the results. I’m waiting for a delivery with great anticipation … check my Haiku Friday #47 post for details ;--)
Hugs and blessings,

This would send me into a total tizzy. Just the thought of not knowing who's reading my blog . . .

*shudder*

LOL, I used to be the same way. I don't know how, but I've managed to get over it. I rarely check the thing now. I do remember being a bit obsessive about it when I knew a particular family member was reading my blog, but not speaking to any of us. I found that odd that she cared enough to read my blog and could know what was going on in our life, but didn't care that we worried about her and her family and had no way to find out if they were doing ok. (Just knew she was reading, twice a day. Either that or she was paranoid that I would blog about her.)

I think my MIL let her know I knew she was reading, she hasn't been back since. (Or else she's reading from someplace besides her work or home.) Oh my, now I hope I haven't stirred a fascination by talking about it, for me to return to this obsession.

How hilarious. Some of these things can be so addictive. I love your honesty. What a hoot.

I hope things are up and running for good!

I think it's a good thing I don't know how to do a sitemeter or anything about how they work!
